Empty Bag Returns & Recycling
- We do not charge a deposit on our bags. The bag is actually yours to keep, so there is no time-limit on when you need to empty your bag.
- Those dropping empty bags back to Eagle Lake Turf Farm & Landscape Supply’s store location are eligible for a 20% discount on anything purchased within the store, including tools, sod, hardscape products, fertilizer, seed or any bulk products, but this 20% discount is excluding BigYellowBags. You will also be eligible for a separate discount on your next BigYellowBag purchase. Details in store when you return your bag to 285177 Frontier Road.
- The Calgary Horticultural Society is a great resource for gardeners. They also have a collection depot for empty BigYellowBags. Look at how much fun it is to return bags HERE!
- Spruce It Up Garden Center, as well as Golden Acre Home & Garden also accept used BigYellowBags for recycling. Please contact those garden centers for more details on their bag recycling programs.
- Empty BigYellowBags can be disposed in your trash bin. Unfortunately, the City of Calgary does not accept them in recycle bins.
