 Having expanded our bentgrass fields in 2009, we will have additional acreage available for harvest this summer of four creeping bentgrass varieties: T-1, A-4, Dominant X-treme 7 and Penncross. These sand-based bentgrasses meet U.S.G.A. specifications for putting greens and offer the following benefits:
- T-1 has a rich green colour and is tenacious ground cover showing excellent competitiveness against Poa.
- A-4 is a fine leafed bentgrass with excellent heat and cold tolerance, providing a smooth and grainless putting surface.
- Dominant X-treme 7 is a blend of SR 1119 and 007. Its features include excellent over-winter survival and uniform dark green colour with strong sealing vigour.
- Penncross or "the old rugged cross" has been widely used since 1955 and continues to be used for its aggressive lateral growth and wide range of adaptability.
 Aside from these varieties already in production, we will custom grow any seed variety on whichever medium is preferred. We recognize different locations have different needs and varying environmental conditions and we are committed to delivering precisely what you want for your project.
