Cubic Feet / Cubic Yards

Measure the area of your project with a tape measure and note length and width in feet and depth in inches.

It may be easier to divide your planned areas into small squares to give you a more accurate measurement.

Divide the depth in inches by 12 then Multiply the length and width together to get a measurement in cubic feet. Divide the Cubic Feet by 27 to get your measurement for cubic yards.
